Today's encampment started at 0520 with a wake up call, followed by formation. By 0535 cadets were out in the field doing PT. After their daily morning PT, the cadets headed to chow. During the course of the day the five flights saw the following events. We tried to capture the best shots of these tours. Cadets learned about how falcons protect the airplanes on the runway. They also saw a K9 demonstration and were told about how the K9 dogs protect bases and other valuable assets. The cadets also learned how we protect our troops against chemical warfare. Another tour was of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) which disables IEDs. There was an aerospace education presentation adjacent to a Starlifter. The basic cadets also viewed the Security Forces and the different weapons and tactics used by the Security Forces Team. Some cadets went on a military refueling operation while some other cadets went on orientation flights on CAP aircraft out of Trenton airport.
