One of the values promoted by basic encampment is teamwork - working together, helping each other out and ensuring that everyone completes the assigned task. The cadets rose to the occasion on Wednesday, posed by challenges on the Army obstacle course and confidence course. Commanders were happy to note that they could hear the yells and screams of cadets on both courses, which were about a quarter mile apart. Following a march back from the two courses, the cadets enjoyed a barbecue and fireworks, even with the rain. |
