NJ Wing Encampment Directions

From New York and Northern New Jersey
N.J. Turnpike South to Exit 7 (Fort Dix) Route 206 South (go to second traffic light -- about 1/2 mile) to Route 68 (left fork from Route 206). Route 68 will provide entrance to the installation where the SSG Terry Hemingway Reception Center is located.

From Delaware and Southern New Jersey
N.J. Turnpike North to Exit 7 (Fort Dix) Route 206 South (go to second traffic light -- about 1/2 mile) to Route 68 (left fork from Route 206). Route 68 will provide entrance to installation where the SSG Terry Hemingway Reception Center is located.

From Philadelphia
Take Walt Whitman Bridge to I-295 North, travel to Exit 40 (Route 38 East, toward Mt. Holly). Follow 38 through Mt. Holly and across Route 206 to Pemberton. Make a left in Pemberton (sign says To Military Bases) on Route 616 to where the SSG Terry Hemingway Reception Center is located.

From Northern Pennsylvania
Take Pennsylvania Turnpike to New Jersey Turnpike Take New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 7 (Fort Dix) Route 206 South (go to second traffic light -- about 1/2 mile) to Route 68. Route 68 will provide entrance to the installation here the SSG Terry Hemingway Reception Center is located.

Shore Points and East. Take Route 70 West to Route 539. Turn onto Route 539 North. Travel seven miles and turn left on Long Swamp Road. Travel four miles along Long Swamp Road and turn left onto Bunting Bridge Road. Follow Bunting Bridge Road for two miles, then turn left onto Main Street, Cookstown. Stay on Main Street for less than .5 mile, turn right onto Cookstown/Wrightstown Road. After three miles, turn left onto Fort Dix Road for the Wrightstown entrance to the installation.

Upon entering Fort Dix, stop at SSG Terry Hemingway Reception Center to obtain a Guest Vehicle Pass - Bring the printed Guest Pass from this web site with you as well.
Then proceed to the guard, show ID and Pass, be prepaird to submit to vehicle inspection.
Rememeber to obey all traffic laws while on base.
Proceed to General Circle and go 3/4 the way around to Fort Dix Road (616) to next circle.
At circle take Texas Avenue (545) to 8th Street and turn right.
The Timmerman Center is located at he corner of 8th and Pennsylvania Ave on the right.
Parking lot is on the right.
