Housing

Officers (SM) are billeted in separate areas within the same building as your cadet.  Additionally, female cadets are billeted in separate rooms than male cadets (and when possible, separate floors).  CAP officers (adults) will monitor these floors during sleeping hours.  We adhere to a strict time schedule and lights out at a reasonable time to allow basic cadets at least 8 hours of sleep.  They are also served three nutritious meals per day and hydration with water is an absolute must [and high priority] for each cadet.

Talk to your cadet about dorm rooms and privacy. Most cadets are not accustom to sharing a room with 8 other people. It can be a little overwhelming and we do not want cadets surprised when they arrive.

We are expecting to billet within the Ft. Dix barracks (a.k.a dormitory), however this is always subject to change when on an active military base used as a staging area for troop transports. We may get lucky and be in tents!  Room assignments will be given to each student during in-processing.
